Headwaters Food and Farming Alliance (HFFA) is a collaborative of various community partners and volunteers that supports activities to enhance local food and farming in Dufferin County and the Town of Caledon in Ontario, Canada. HFFA is a project of Headwaters Communities in Action (HCIA). HFFA has a coordinating committee called “the HUB” and one working group called “Education, Literacy and Access (ELA)”.

History Highlights
On April 23rd 2012, 135 people from the Headwaters Region gathered together at the first Headwaters Food Summit to develop a practical plan to bring out the best of their regional food system. HFFA was formed following this food summit in efforts to work towards the goals identified at the food summit. Since the inception of HFFA, a second Headwaters Food Summit was hosted in 2013 as well as numerous other community events, meetings and workshops in efforts to work towards HFFA’s vision.
